How Good is it?
‘The wedding exhibition at Braehead Arena was really great. We’d never been to Braehead before, but two of my friends at work said it was really good. It was easy to get to, just off the M8 and parking was free all day. We had a real girlie day out and went shopping after, then we had lunch and went back in to the exhibition again to see the fashion show for a second time!’ It was a great fun day with no stress and no hassle.’
‘Loved the fashion show, it was amazing to watch and the music was brilliant too! I asked the sound guys for the name of one of the tracks and we used it for the wedding service.’
Found the right wedding photographers at last. Their pictures were beautiful and they were really nice to talk to. They showed us this fabulous Italian album that’s just to die for!’
'10 out of 10 for style and excitement - Braehead was awesome! We maxed out all the credit cards because we kept finding really cool stuff. We bought gorgeous presies for the best man and bridesmaids and I tried on loads of fab veils and tiaras. The atmosphere was amazing and so was the big fashion show, in fact we watched it twice, then went for a coffee and came back in to book a manicure and a spray tan. I’m going back again to the next wedding exhibition at Braehead, it’s just so good!'
‘I saved over £200.00 on my wedding dress at the exhibition and found the perfect bridesmaid’s dresses to match the colour of my flowers. The florist’s advice was really good too - I hadn’t a clue what I was looking for before I went to this exhibition. I also found this gorgeous kilt outfit for my fiancé and his Best Man. Everybody was dead relaxed and helpful. It was definitely the most fun exhibition I’ve been to and I could even nip out for something to eat in the shopping centre and come back in again later.’
‘All the girls and Mum and I had a ball! There was so much to see and I got some great ideas for themed invitations and menus. We booked the wedding cars immediately - they were like real movie star cars! Oh, and by the way, the bridesmaids are in love with two of the guy models who wore these really stylish kilts.’ Mum wanted to know if she could hire the male models for the day.’ Dad will be happy too because we saved him a load of money!’
‘The amazing thing about the wedding exhibition at Braehead is how easy it all is. Just drive in, park (all day for free!), go shopping in the centre, look around the show for a couple of hours, pop back into the centre for lunch and go back again in time for the second fashion show – that was free too. Although it was very stylish, it was really inexpensive and it was great because we didn’t feel ripped off, like we did at one of the other shows.’
‘The thing that we all loved about the exhibition was that it was so informal and great fun to visit. We booked the wedding band, the cake and we bought the rings – they were so unusual and the jeweller was really great too. I didn’t realise that you could get so much free advice at an exhibition. We’ve saved a lot of time and money and the girls and I had brilliant day out.’
‘Where else could you go and find everything you ever wanted, without trawling around the shops and spending hundreds of hours going cross eyed on the internet. Everybody at the Braehead show was really helpful and I got a great deal on my wedding party’s hairdressing and makeup. I saved a fortune on special show offers on my veil, tiara, bag and shoes, too. In fact, I saved so much that we were able to book a better Honeymoon than we thought we could afford in the original budget!’ Thank you for making it so easy.'
